Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary

The Quality assurance Manager will develop and lead QA procedures, practices and objectives, Maintain a company wide quality management system of incoming materials and processes. The role is facilitating, leading, and managing all aspects of quality assurance efforts within the factory. Further to the quality position the QA manager should play a key role on leading the process improvement team.

Responsibilities

The QA Manager will be responsible to manage and facilitate the following practices, procedures and policies:

  • Maintain ICC certification, audits and updates to all QA procedures
  • Develop audit and maintain all manufacturing procedures and policies for new processes
  • Develop NPI procedures and polices for New product releases
  • Training and skills development for all employees involved in quality
  • Oversee NCRs and work as key member of process improvement team to create action items and new policies based on NCRs to resolve future reoccurrences
  • Supervise the performance of physical inspections for monitoring products including incoming materials, inspections for work-in-progress, and final inspection before shipping manufactured goods
  • Log and monitor all Incidents investigation and reporting with Production Manager
  • Spearhead and resolve quality issues with clients, manage manufacturing and production quality staff, continuously verify procedures, and provide leadership for improving the quality system
  • Coordinating and presenting PP presentations at Safety meetings for production staff, keeping all staff informed all incident investigations, LTIF , and status of our Company safety
  • Manage and record down stream processes and or supplier performance

Core Competencies

  • Proven working experience within QA practices, procedures and policies
  • Experience developing and implementing quality program start to finish
  • Competent in strategies for process improvement to rectify quality issues, work with process improvement team to find valid solutions and implement change in a timely fashion to solve NCRs
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, World, and Power Point).
  • Competence to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels including customers
  • Competent in ISO and or ICC certifications

Education and Experience

  • Proven working experience within QA practices, procedures and policies
  • Experience developing and implementing quality program start to finish
  • Competent in strategies for process improvement to rectify quality issues, work with process improvement team to find valid solutions and implement change in a timely fashion to solve NCRs
